Amasiiko (Hope) Pregnancy Care Center birthed in November 2017 through collaboration with Beautiful Feet International. Masiiko Pregnancy Care Center trains the Batwa women on the life inside of their womb, how to care for their bodies and unborn children, and follows up with the women through the first year of life of their child.  We believe that by upgrading their skills and knowledge base that it helps to build their confidence and also increases the health of the mother, decreases mortality rates and increases the well being among the Batwa mothers and babies.Amasiiko Pregnancy Care Center preaches the message of hope to our at risk Batwa women and teenage mothers helping them to know that God loves them and loves the babies in their wombs since God is the one who opens and closes the womb.  We teach that no pregnancy is a mistake.  The women choose to trust in the Lord, love the babies in their wombs regardless of the past situation or how they became pregnant.  Amasiiko Pregnancy Care Center also provides health education to pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.  The women are also provided with basic support which includes basic medical care, clothes, soap, food, items to use while they deliver their baby, vitamins, and clothing and blankets for the baby.  Since the opening of Amasiiko Pregnancy Care Center, we have helped over 136 women from our different centers.  Barbara Mellab Tugume oversees the Amasiiko Pregnancy Care Center along with our nurse who assists Barbara.Each month the women meet and they walk great distances to come to receive support.  Your monthly support helps to provide food and drinks for the women, supplies that are handed out, and in some cases transport funds. If you would like to help support our Amasiiko Pregnancy Care Center, you can become a monthly partner.  We are also wanting to finish a room in our Rivers of Life Clinic for a birthing room for our women.  The living conditions of our women are very poor and dirty.  Our goal would be to have a birthing center where our women can come and deliver in a clean and safe environment.   $1000 a month supports all five of our centers.  

Emergency Fund This fund is for emergencies that arise on ground.  Emergencies consist of emergency medical care, funerals, and support for widows and orphans upon losing a loved one.

Ken Landry Memorial Hospital Every mother deserves a safe place to give birth. Every child deserves medical care from people who care about them. A place of healing. A refuge of hope. For many of the families we serve, neither is guaranteed. Some are mothers who fled violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Some are Batwa families. Some are the children in our Seeds of Hope programs. Through Ken Landry Memorial Hospital, Hope Ministries Uganda is working to change that. A hospital building on five acres in Ntungamo, Uganda, valued at $250,000, has been donated to this work. We see this gift as God’s provision and the start of a new chapter for these families. The building is here. Now we need your help getting it ready for patients. When war doesn’t stop, birth doesn’t stop either For mothers fleeing conflict in eastern DRC, pregnancy is more dangerous than it should be. When women are displaced, they often lose access to medical care. Many give birth without a trained attendant, clean supplies, or a safe place to deliver. Some arrive with physical and emotional wounds from sexual violence. Others are about to have a baby far from home, with no idea what comes next. We want these mothers to find safety, skilled care, and dignity, and to be welcomed with kindness when they and their babies need it most. Care for vulnerable families Ken Landry Memorial Hospital is being developed to provide: Maternity and newborn care: Safe deliveries, care for newborns, and emergency C-sections once the hospital is equipped and staffed. Ambulance transportation: Planned transport for pregnant women in danger, bringing them from border areas, refugee settlements, and displaced communities to the care they need. Care for survivors of sexual violence: Medical treatment and emotional support that treat each woman with dignity. Free care for the Batwa: Medical care for a community that has faced poverty, discrimination, and barriers to treatment for generations. Free care for Seeds of Hope children: Medical care for the children in our programs. Counseling and spiritual support: Prayer, counseling, and encouragement in the hope of Jesus Christ, offered alongside medical care. We want to care for the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. Honoring Ken Landry’s legacy Ken Landry was a faithful missionary friend, and supporter of this ministry. He loved the people affected by war in DRC and Uganda. His generosity helped plant churches, train pastors, provide Bibles, and share the gospel in communities living through conflict. He wanted to see lives changed by Jesus and peace return to places that had known violence. The hospital that bears his name will carry that compassion forward by welcoming vulnerable families, caring for mothers and babies, and offering hope to people in hard circumstances.   Help us open the doors Phase One Goal: $100,000 The donated building is a remarkable start. By placing God's Word in the hands of young believers, we are nurturing faith, courage, and wisdom that will guide them for a lifetime.
