In the heart of Kihihi Village, Kanungu District, South West Uganda, 600 eager children dream of an education that can break the cycle of poverty. Among them are 200 children from the marginalized Batwa community, for whom Living Hope Christian College represents an unprecedented opportunity for a brighter future.

But right now, the school's gates remain closed.

Living Hope Christian College is poised to be a beacon of academic excellence, spiritual growth, and community transformation. Yet, it stands unfinished, unable to meet government requirements and provide a safe, dignified learning environment.

The Urgent Reality:

• No Security: A mandatory perimeter wall is needed for safety, especially given the school's proximity to the DRC. 

• No Clean Water: Children currently have no access to safe drinking water on campus.

• No Hygienic Toilets: There are no proper sanitation facilities, posing serious health risks.

• Dilapidated Classrooms: 9 existing blocks have leaky roofs, crumbling walls, damaged floors, and no proper ceilings.

• Empty Halls: There are no desks, no beds, and no furnishings – we are starting completely from scratch.
