A new chapter is taking shape for Hope Ministries Uganda. Through the Government of Uganda's TVET Matching Fund, a fully furnished primary school campus, complete with classrooms, dormitories, a kitchen and dining hall, and staff housing, has been handed over to serve our Seeds of Hope students.
This January, 380 children will walk through the doors of that new school for the first time.
A group in Uganda is donating the beds themselves, a gift we're grateful for and could not have provided on our own. But a bed alone doesn't make a home. Each child still needs a mattress to sleep on, sheets and a blanket to stay warm, a suitcase for the few belongings they carry with them, shoes and a uniform for school, and a desk to learn at.
Whatever the Lord leads you to give, it helps plant a seed of hope that will grow for years to come.
